Rob Jackson takes 3rd and 6th places
at Ducati Speedweek
Our
very own Rob Jackson or 'Jacko' as we know him re-discovered his talent
for racing motorcycles by taking 3rd and 6th in the premier Superbike
races at Ducati Speedweek held at Brno in the Czech Republic.
Jacko, one of the co-founders of Pro Twins, started
his racing career in his native country of Australia where he worked his
way up to the National 250GP Championships racing against the likes of
Mick Doohan and Darryl Bettie.
Originally a fighter jet aircraft engineer and now
with many years as a trained Ducati technician, Jacko now uses his racing
experience to build bespoke Ducati's and help customers set-up their Ducati's
for road or track use.
Rob rarely gets the chance to race these days. However
when he does his results against experienced racers including ex WSB riders
proves that when the chips are down, Jacko can still give top riders a
run for their money. Aint that right Mick! |
