Akrapovic BOLT-ON systems include only the muffler. Thus, only the stock muffler is replaced, while the header assembly from the stock exhaust system remains unchanged.
It is intended for the customer who does not wish to make major mechanical alterations to the bike itself, but chiefly desires an improved aesthetic effect. In addition to a noticeable change in the exterior appearance of the bike, you get the characteristic lowered sound, lighter weight and improved power and torque curves in comparison to the restrictive stock muffler.

The Akrapovic SLIP-ON system is a parallel line to the Bolt-on series and is based on a simple replacement of the stock muffler together with the link pipe. The rest of the stock system remains untouched. The system is developed and fine-tuned for each specific model of motorcycle, and is the last step before a serious tune-up involving the replacement of the entire exhaust system.

The SPORT PRODUCTION line is a complete replacement exhaust system. It represents the first level of serious performance improvement at a reasonable price, using a completely redesigned exhaust system.
It is intended for customers who expect sports performance, but not the extreme racing characteristics of our race-replica exhaust systems. The major advantage of the SPORT PRODUCTION line is that it is intended for everyday use, but don't think that the performance of the system suffers as a result! On the contrary, the SPORT PRODUCTION line offers power and torque which stock exhaust systems simply cannot match.

Conditions on the market and legal regulations have directed Akrapovic towards the development and production of a new generation of mufflers whose basic design is based on existing Akrapovic RACING and EVOLUTION line exhaust systems .Like the rest of the range, the new generation mufflers use state-of-the-art materials developed in order to provide top-flight performance, the lowest possible weight and the highest production quality.

The RACING line is the one which quickens the pulse of motorcyclists. It is developed and tuned especially for each specific model of motorcycle, without regard to the level of racing character of the bike. It is also intended for race-hardened riders who are used to trying to ride the perfect line on the race course.
Even though the point is to increase adrenalin flow throughout the rider's body, many riders choose to use this system for everyday use, as the system can be installed on an otherwise stock bike.
