AKRAPOVIC OFF-ROAD PROGRAM

The Akrapovic SLIP-ON line is
intended as an initial stage of exhaust system tuning. Its design
is appropriate to this function. It replaces the back part of the
stock exhaust system with a very simple installation procedure.
The Akrapovic SLIP-ON system is constructed from two main parts:
a muffler and a link pipe. The link pipe is made of titanium or
high-quality stainless steel, as is the front rosette on the muffler
to which it is joined with a flawless weld. It should be mentioned
that the link pipe is of conical shape, which matches the front
part of the stock exhaust and contributes appropriately to improved
engine characteristics. The connection to the stock exhaust is made
with a free-floating joint held together with metal regulating clamps
The muffler is made entirely of titanium, including the outer sleeve,
outlet cap and interior. The muffler is held in place through all
the shocks and stresses of off-road riding using an Akrapovic dual
carbon-fiber clamp. |

The EVOLUTION system is the flagship
of the Akrapovic line. It is a complete replacement for the stock
system.
The outer sleeve is made entirely of titanium, as is the interior
of the muffler, and the outlet cap. The link pipe is also of titanium
and is conical in form, which on the basis of testing provides the
most suitable flow of exhaust gases. The muffler and link pipe are
welded together to form a single piece. This is attached to the
motorcycle using a high-quality Akrapovic dual carbon-fiber clamp
which is designed to perform its function flawlessly.
The front part of the EVOLUTION exhaust system consists of the header
tube, which like the link pipe is conical. It is also made of race-proven
titanium. The connection between the back section – the muffler
and link pipe – and the header tube is a free-floating joint
held together with a high-quality silicon shielded tensioning spring.
The cylinder head flanges are CNC machined from aluminium, and the
inner sleeves are machined from stainless steel.
